SCOTT T. WALKER FOUNDATION
We are a family-run foundation that is focused on helping single-parent homes. You are not alone, there are people who have experienced the same thing you may be experiencing. Let us and others help you stand tall.
MISSION & HISTORY.
Our Mission is to impact the lives of single-parent households through various grants. Our grants will assist with rent/mortgage payments, car payments, athletic, academic, and therapy costs. There is immeasurable potential in the world today, and our goal is to assist families in unlocking that potential. We want to be an extension to their family helping them get through difficult times. Families impacted by the loss or abandonment of a parent have the ability to stand strong and use their experience as a light to others.
In 2004 we lost our beloved father and husband, Scott T. Walker to cancer. He battled cancer for four years and unfortunately he lost the fight. Our widowed mother was left to care for three boys ages 11, 10, and 8. We were left devastated and broken and if it was not for the help of families and friends our story could have been written differently. Instead, we grew as a family, we stood tall, and used our experience and the help from others as motivation to let nothing stand in our way.
This is our motivation for this foundation, to enable families and individuals impacted by a tragedy to use that experience to grow and impact the lives of many others.
